Loose change in a leather purse.

Evening in Morocco. Powys

Change coming stealthy creeping

Sooo slow change to come, creeping stealthily,

Here before you know it — except you always knew it would come — creeping:

“Things are going to change”, you opine, nodding.

This year, next year, sometime, never…

Needs to be coaxed to come faster, this chaste change, virginal shy.

Needs assurances that change doesn’t mean “loose”.

No loose change, thanks.

If there is to be looseness, we don’t want anything to do with it.

We want our change safely clasped in a leather purse where it can be

Un-zipped, managed and used when it arrives.

Challenging change causing — consternation.

“It can’t happen, can it?”

Coming inexorably to a climax near you –

“Can it?”

Anyway, it’s not the end — endings are beginnings

And beginnings can be change with benefits if you want them to be.

Change expectations now before the doctor tells you to,

So you can be like water when the time comes.

You can flow like water when the change comes…

Ah, now though, here it is — faster and more bullish than even you anticipated.

There is just time to blow up a handy Lilo and cling on

Before being launched into a new velocity of meteoric change:

“That a beginning could it be?

Couldn’t it?”
